Abstract
Cette étude trace l’évolution des rendements de l’éducation des jeunes canadiens, selon des niveaux d’éducation relativement détaillés, le sexe et les provinces de 1990 à 2005, en s’appuyant sur les larges échantillons des fichiers analytiques des recensements. La croissance des rendements pour l’éducation supérieure, en particulier chez les femmes, est plus élevée que pour celle de la population totale des travailleurs. On trouve qu’il existe une grande hétérogénéité dans les rendements entre les provinces et les sexes, en particulier chez les niveaux d’éducation inférieurs à l’université. Enfin, on trouve une forte augmentation des rendements de l’expérience potentielle pour les deux sexes de 1990 à 2005.
