Se presenta el caso de una mujer joven que desarrolló una condensación parenquimatosa en el hemitórax derecho, durante una infección respiratoria, la cual se resolvió con tratamiento estándar, apareciendo una imagen cavitada y bien delimitada.En el seguimiento se comprueba su desaparición espontánea en el curso de unas semanas.El Neumatocele es un espacio lleno de gas contenido en el parénquima pulmonar, que ocasionalmente se observa tras neumonías agudas y que generalmente se resuelve espontáneamente sin necesidad de otras medidas terapéuticas y sin dejar secuelas.Son muchos los agentes infecciosos relacionados con esta entidad, aunque clásicamente ha asociado con el "staphylococcus aureus".
