Abstract
No território formado pelo anticlinal de Estremoz, a paisagem gerada no contraste entre o seu carácter agrícola e o seu carácter industrial, associado à extração do mármore, proporciona um fértil campo de heterogénea reflexão/ação no domínio das artes. A partir deste contexto abordar-se-ão as relações da paisagem com a escultura e o território, focadas nas construções negativas, as pedreiras, enquanto site e os objetos escultóricos como possíveis no site, assim como outras práticas artísticas relativas ao lugar. Analisa-se também o palimpsesto que constitui a paisagem atual do anticlinal, nas suas múltiplas potencialidades e oportunidades artísticas, no presente e futuro. Esta abordagem, parte ainda de um olhar envolvido com o território em causa, numa coabitação constante e próxima, proporcionada pela prática da escultura, do habitar e da docência, da autora, registando o histórico de algumas ações, iniciadas há cerca de duas décadas, abrindo a discussão e reflexão sobre as problemáticas do território em questão no domínio da arte e da paisagem.
