Ce volume devrait ravir les amateurs de littérature de voyage : il remet à la disposition du public le récit que publia Marcel Thiry, au début des années 1960, à propos du « banal voyage » qui lui fit faire le tour du monde sous l’uniforme du soldat et qui, en 1924, lui avait déjà inspiré le célèbre sonnet Toi qui pâlis au nom de Vancouver, par quoi commence véritablement son œuvre littéraire. Ce récit haut en couleurs, mais peu dans le ton de l’épopée martiale, parut d’abord dans le quotidie...
