In this issue, editors Eyal de Lara and Maria Ebling cover a mobile firewall with a USB form factor, a smart parking meter that can detect when a vehicle pulls in and out of a parking stall, and an initiative by the British government to outfit police officers with head-mounted cameras. They also present a Web-based voice communications service that lets users manage all their phones with a single virtual phone number and a service that turns the isolation of surfing the Web into a social networking opportunity.
