Abstract
Abstract The Ifugao Rice Terraces in the Cordilleras of the Philippines represent one of the world’s most extraordinary and beautiful agricultural landscapes, created over hundreds of years. A World Heritage Site, they were temporarily classified as ‘endangered’ in 2001 when 30% of the terraces were seen to be uncultivated or neglected.
