Abstract
L’article étudie si, et de quelle manière, les banques coopératives développent une compétence de relations étroites avec leurs parties prenantes, en analysant le contenu, la nature et la finalité des relations entre administrateurs et parties prenantes, ainsi que les conditions et les coûts de développement de cette compétence. L’étude menée dans une banque coopérative française illustre empiriquement les travaux de Jones et al. (2018) et confirme que les banques coopératives constituent un environnement favorable à l’établissement de relations étroites avec les parties prenantes. L’article contribue au développement de l’approche instrumentale de la théorie des parties prenantes.
