Abstract Retail ‐ Apparel and Accessory Stores (MIC: 5.8 SIC: 5621 NAIC: 448120) Talbots is a specialty retailer and cataloger of women's, children's and men's classic apparel, accessories and shoes. Talbots offers sportswear, casual wear, dresses, coats, sweaters, accessories and shoes, consisting exclusively of Co.'s own branded merchandise in misses and petites female sizes. Talbots Kids offers clothing and accessories for infants, toddlers, boys and girls. As of Jan 29 2005, Co. operated 1,049 stores in U.S., Canada and U.K. This included 521 Talbots Misses stores, 285 Talbots Petites stores, 41 Talbots Accessories and Shoes stores, 71 Talbots Kids stores, 95 Talbots Woman stores, 11 Talbots Mens stores, one Talbots Collection store and 24 Talbots Outlet stores.
