Abstract

O presente trabalho relaciona duas áreas do Design: o Design de Moda e o Design de Superfície, investigando a relação que se estabelece entre os dois na criação e produção do vestuário. Uma vez que ao criar estampas para tecidos o designer trabalha no campo bidimensional e está superfície envolverá um corpo tridimensional ao ser transformada em vestuário, são discutidos os problemas que podem ser gerados a partir desta transformação e é investigada possíveis soluções para a questão. Para tal, é realizada uma revisão acerca dos assuntos envolvidos na indagação passando por reflexões acerca dos temas e da ligação entre a superfície e o vestuário. Por fim, são realizadas experimentações propondo o protótipo virtual como ferramenta de diálogo entre as áreas.
