Abstract
Abstract Oil and Gas (MIC: 14.2 SIC: 1311 NAIC:211111) Imperial Oil is an integrated oil company. Co.'s operations are conducted in three main segments: natural resources include the exploration for, and production of, crude oil and natural gas; petroleum products consist of the transportation, refining and blending of crude oil and refined products; and chemicals consist of the manufacturing and marketing of various petrochemicals. In Canada, Co. is a major producer of crude oil and natural gas, and a refiner and marketer of petroleum products. Co. is also a supplier of petrochemicals. As of Dec 31 2003, proved reserves of crude oil and natural gas were 1,670 million barrels and 1,023 billion cubic feet, respectively.
