Abstract
Jusqu' tout rcemment, on ne savait que peu de choses au sujet des sous-marins qui faisaient partie des forces sovitiques envoyes Cuba en 1962. Quatre sous-marins diesels arms de torpilles ogives nuclaires furent localiss par la U.S. Navy Quarantine Force, des destroyers amricains ont d en remonter trois la surface afin de les identifier. Deux nouveaux ouvrages, bass sur les souvenirs des sous-mariniers russes et des documents amricains rcemment dclassifis, fournissent un aperu apprci des activits marines au cours de la crise des missiles cubains.
