Abstract Commercial Banking (MIC: SIC: 6022 NAIC: 522110) Irwin Financial is a bank holding company which is engaged primarily in the extension of credit to consumers and small businesses as well as providing the ongoing servicing of those customer accounts. Through its subsidiaries, Co. operates three primary lines of business: commercial banking through Irwin Union Bank & Trust Company and Irwin Union Bank, F.S.B.; commercial finance through Irwin Commercial Finance Corporation; as well as home equity lending through Irwin Home Equity Corporation. Also, Co. is engaged in conducting part of its finance line of business in Canadian markets. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. had $6.17 billion in assets and $3.33 billion in deposits.
