Abstract
Lors d'une audience qu'il a accordée le 3 avril aux 800 délégués de 34 pays, au 1er congrès mondial de prévention des accidents du travail, S.S. Pie XII a exposé les motifs qui doivent inciter les employeurs à assurer à leurs ouvriers des conditions satisfaisantes de sécurité et d'hygiène. Soulignant en particulier les motifs humains, le Pape a affirmé que les problèmes de la prévention des accidents du travail ne trouveront de solution complète que replacés dans un plan d'ensemble qui tiendra compte de tous les aspects de la vie du travailleur et qui fera droit à toutes ses aspirations légitimes.
