Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara melalui media wayang berbasis budaya lokal pada materi bercerita di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri 100 Gresik tahun pelajaran 2019-2020. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan guru kelas. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan model Arifin yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdapat sebanyak 18 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dalam bentuk tes, sedangkan instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar tes untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berbicara.Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti, didapatkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara pada siklus I mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 83% atau 15 peserta didik yang tuntas. Sehingga pada siklus I telah mencapai ketuntasan secara klasikal yaitu 75%.
