Abstract
Historiografi Belandasenris adalah sebuah perspektif sejarah yang pernah dikembangkan pemerintah kolonial Hindia Belanda di Indonesia. Sesuai dengan namanya, historiografi ini memusatkan perspektifnya terhadap peranan bangsa Belanda dalam membangun wilayah koloninya. Dimulai dengan pelayaran kapal dagang Belanda di bawah pimpinan Kapten Kapal Cornelis de Houtman yang berhasil mencapai Pelabuhan Banten pada tahun 1595 untuk mencari rempah- rempah. Dari Banten, mereka menuju wilayah timur Indonesia hingga berlabuh di Peraian Maluku. Tujuh tahun kemudian para pedagang Belanda membentuk VOC (Vereedigde Oost Indische Compagnie), sebuah kongsi dagang untuk berdagang di wilayah Hindia Timur yang terbentang antara Tanung Harapan di Afrika hingga Selat Magelhaes. Dari VOC pemerintah Belanda membangun pemerintahan kolonial Hindia Belanda yang berpusat di Batavia (sekarang Jakarta). Keberhasilan inilah yang dikisahkan dalam historiografi Belandasentris. Tulisan ini menelusuri asal mula pertumbuhan gagasan historiografi Belandasentris: Bagaimana proses perumusannya dan siapakah yang menggagas dan mengembangkannya ?
