The first annual AP-S Student Design Contest was a resounding success! The three finalist teams exhibited their antenna demonstration systems on Monday, July 12, 2010, at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Society in Toronto. Conference attendees had the opportunity to see each system in operation, and to talk to the student teams. All of the visitors were impressed with the creativity and quality of the projects. At lunch time, the doors were closed to the public, and the judges evaluated each project to select the first-, second-, and third-place winners. The selection process was extremely difficult, because all three teams did first-rate work.
