Abstract Retail ‐ Apparel and Accessory Stores (MIC: SIC: 5651 NAIC: 448140) TJX Companies is an off‐price retailer of apparel and home fashions. Co.'s T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and A.J. Wright chains in the U.S., its Winners chain in Canada, and its T.K. Maxx chain in Europe sell off‐price family apparel and home fashions. Co.'s HomeGoods chain in the U.S. and its HomeSense chain, operated by Winners in Canada, sell off‐price home fashions. Co.'s Bob's Stores chain is a branded apparel chain based in the Northeastern U.S. that provides casual, family apparel. As of Jan 26 2008, Co. operated 847 T.J. Maxx stores, 776 Marshalls stores, 191 Winners stores, 226 T.K. Maxx stores, 289 HomeGoods stores, 129 A.J. Wright stores, 71 HomeSense stores, and 34 Bob's Stores.
