Abstract
PAGE 201 A pair of Chinese researchers present a differential piezoresistive wind speed sensor on a flexible substrate, using a pair of piezoresistors. When wind blows towards the device it flexes, causing an increase in resistance on the front surface and reducing the resistance on the back surface. The device is capable of measuring wind speeds of up to 20 m/s. PAGE 174 A collaboration of scientists from Algeria, Canada and the USA have developed a quarter cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna with circular polarisation, suitable for use in wideband MIMO systems.
