Abstract
I Introduction Au cours de l’année 2006, le Canada a témoigné d’un intérêt renouvelé pour les accords concernant l’investissement étranger. En novembre 2006, le Canada a signé l’Accord entre le Canada et la République du Pérou pour la promotion et la protection des investissements (APIE Canada-Pérou). Il s’agit du premier accord conclu suite à la publication en 2004 du nouveau modèle canadien d’Accord pour la promotion et la protection des investissements (APIE) et du premier APIE signé depuis 1999. En décembre 2006, après des décennies d’attente, le Canada a finalement signé la Convention pour le règlement des différends relatifs aux investissements entre États et ressortissants d’autres États (Convention CIRDI).
