Abstract
Sir Perceval of Galles is a Middle English tail‐rhyme romance about the popular Arthurian hero who, in Continental texts, is one of central knights in the quest for the Holy Grail. This English poem, however, has no grail story and seems most interested in playing up the humor inherent in the encounter between the uncouth Perceval and the refined world of the Arthurian court.
