Abstract
This chapter presents a philosophical and theological overview of art in relation to death and eternity, along with a final glossary of terms to help the nonspecialist follow the claims and arguments. The educational mission of the chapter is to radically reframe the terms of art and show how this more radical vision of art opposes the natural attitude within education today surrounding STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), economized learning, and even art itself.
