Abstract
Abstract Canopus (Abuqir) was an ancient harbor town located 15 km east of Alexandria, at the mouth of the now vanished Canopic branch of the Nile and close to Thonis‐Heracleion, which was Egypt's main trade post from the seventh to the fifth and fourth centuries bce . The town was also known for its temple of Sarapis and, later, for its martyrium of St John and St Cyril. Current evidence indicates that it was occupied sometime before the sixth century bce until the eighth century ce . Shortly after the Arab conquest, a substantial part of Canopus sank into the Mediterranean Sea. The pre‐Hellenistic origin of the urban area encompassing Canopus and Thonis‐Heracleion, like the Pharaonic occupation of nearby Plinthine and evidence of long‐distance trade of copper in the Maryut Lagoon and Alexandria Bay, indicates that the northwestern Nile delta was fully integrated into Egyptian and international connectivity networks long before Alexander the Great's conquest.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
