Nama Angely Emitasari mungkin belum dikenal secara nasional, tapi perempuan kelahiran Lamongan 16 Oktober 1991 ini sudah berkibar di wilayah Jawa Timur. Angely Emitasari dikenal sebagai biduanita sejak 2013 yang bergabung bersama orkes melayu (O.M.) Adella, grup yang sering memunculkan penyanyi dangdut bertalenta seperti Via Vallen. Nama Angely Emitasari mendadak menjadi viral secara nasional setelah dilantik oleh Bupati Lamongan, Fadeli sebagai Kepala Desa Kedungkumpul, Kecamatan Sukorame, Kabupaten Lamongan. Dalam pemilihan kepala desa (pilkades), Angely Emitasari yang mendapat nomor urut 2 berhasil mendapatkan 1.260 suara, mengungguli 2 kandidat lain, yakni nomor urut 1 yang meraih 984 suara serta nomor urut tiga yang meraih 655 suara.
