Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Philip III of Spain and II of Portugal (April 14, 1578–March 13, 1621) ruled from 1598 until his death. Facing complex dynastic and religious interests, and fiscal problems that limited his potential actions, he aimed to settle conflicts his father Philip II had bequeathed to him of war with England and with the rebellious provinces of the Spanish Netherlands. A peace with England and a truce with the Netherlands provided time for financial redress, if not recovery. The end of his reign saw him intervening in the Holy Roman Empire in support of his Habsburg relatives at the start of what would become the Thirty Years' War, and Philip died shortly before war began again against the Dutch.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
