Cadre d'action pancanadien sur la résistance aux antimicrobiens et l'utilisation des antimicrobiens Agence de la santé publique du Canada 1 * RésuméLes infections résistantes aux antimicrobiens sont de plus en plus fréquentes et plus difficiles à traiter, et cette situation est exacerbée par l'utilisation généralisée d'antimicrobiens en médecine humaine et vétérinaire ainsi que dans le secteur agricole.Dans le cadre de l'intervention coordonnée du Canada, qui vise à lutter contre la résistance aux antimicrobiens (RAM), le document Lutter contre la résistance aux antimicrobiens et optimiser leur utilisation : un cadre d'action pancanadien a été publié en septembre 2017.Ce cadre est un document stratégique général qui énonce les objectifs stratégiques, les résultats et les possibilités d'orienter l'action concertée vers la résistance aux antimicrobiens et l'utilisation des antimicrobiens.Il repose sur une approche « Une santé », et a été élaboré en collaboration avec les gouvernements fédéral, provinciaux et territoriaux ainsi qu'avec des intervenants externes des secteurs de la santé humaine et de la santé animale.Le Cadre est fondé sur quatre composantes : la surveillance, la prévention et le contrôle des infections, la gestion, et la recherche et l'innovation.Il s'appuie sur les activités liées à la résistance aux antimicrobiens qui se déroulent déjà dans les secteurs de la santé humaine et de la santé animale, et vise à établir le lien entre ces activités afin de renforcer l'approche du Canada à l'égard de la résistance aux antimicrobiens.
