La llegada y expansión de las llamadas nuevas tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (NTIC) debe obligarnos a repensar la Educación en Medios de Comunicación. Por un lado, la vieja disyuntiva producción/análisis se ha quedado obsoleta. Por el otro, se abren nuevas posibilidades para la mejora de la competencia comunicativa de los niños en edad escolar, lo que afectará a sus relaciones de comunicación con padres y profesores, entre otros. En el artículo se comentan los resultados de una investigación sobre los usos de Internet llevada a cabo en Quebec.
