Abstract
La finalisation du Cadre stratégique pour l’agriculture ainsi que les réformes amendant les principaux programmes de soutien agricole, en particulier l’introduction du Programme canadien de stabilisation du revenu agricole (PCSRA), ont marqué l’année 2004. Le Programme d’aide transitoire à l’industrie (PATI) a également été appliqué pour compenser les pertes financières engendrées par la découverte d’un cas d’ESB au Canada et les réductions consécutives des parts de marché à l’exportation du boeuf.
