Due to a production error in Hemodialysis International, the author index (Hemodialysis International 12 (1), 161–164 doi: 10.1111/j.1542-4758.2008.00252.x) and the subject index (Hemodialysis International 12 (1), 165–172 doi: 10.1111/j.1542-4758.2008.00252_1.x) of the Hemodialysis Abstracts of the 28th Annual Dialysis Conference were incorrectly created. The corrected versions are on the following pages after the abstracts. Please note that the original page numbers have been retained in order to preserve the functionality of the index. We apologize for the error and any confusion it may have caused.
