Abstract
Riche de plus de 1 900 œuvres — sculptures, toiles, œuvres sur papier —, la collection d'oeuvres d'art de l'Université de Montréal constitue un exemple remarquable de collection d'institution de type universitaire. Il faut préciser qu'elle est dépositaire de plusieurs collections scientifiques à valeur patrimoniale qui sont sous la responsabilité de divers départements : les collections Ouellet-Robert et l'Herbier Marie-Victorin relèvent du Département des sciences biologiques
