Abstract
En 2018, le Canada a accueilli 320 000 nouveaux immigrés pour un séjour de longue durée ou à titre permanent (changements de statut compris), soit 11.9 % de plus qu’en 2017. Ce chiffre comprend 29.9 % de travailleurs immigrés, 54.6 % de membres de famille (y compris les accompagnants) et 14.2 % d’immigrés admis pour des raisons humanitaires. Environ 153 000 permis ont été délivrés à des étudiants en mobilité internationale inscrits dans l’enseignement supérieur et 246 000 à des travailleurs immigrés, temporaires ou saisonniers.
