L’évolution convergente des systèmes éducatifs occidentaux autour du discours normatif de « l’établissement mobilisé » et du travail collectif des enseignants n’entraîne pas d’effet homogène et linéaire sur les pratiques des enseignants. Les modalités de collaboration des enseignants peuvent prendre des formes très différentes selon le système éducatif dans lequel elles s’insèrent mais également selon les processus locaux de coordination des acteurs à l’intérieur de chaque établissement. Ce numéro thématique met en évidence des approches diversifiées de l’étude des formes de travail collectif des enseignants au sein des établissements scolaires et de leur lien avec les processus d’enseignement. La participation, dans ce numéro, de plusieurs auteurs de nationalité différente (Belgique, France, États-Unis, Québec) permet de saisir la diversité des modalités de travail collectif des enseignants dans ces différents contextes et de mettre en évidence leur lien avec les pratiques d’enseignement.
