Gaëlle HallairEdité par des géographes, ce volume regroupe les actes d'un atelier qui s'est déroulé en novembre 2009 au Märkische Museum de Berlin et qui a été dédié aux ressources en eau ; le workshop a été organisé par un groupe d'experts rattachés à la Deutsche Akademie der Technikwissenschaften (acatech).Dans une perspective historique, les sept contributions, qui relèvent de la géographie historique, de la géo-archéologie et de l'histoire des sciences, s'intéressent à la gestion et à l'utilisation passées des ressources en eau en Allemagne, en particulier en Allemagne du Nord, et dans le nord de l'Europe centrale, en vue d'en tirer des pistes de réflexion pour l'avenir.
