This chapter gives an overview of farfield array signal processing. Conventional methods are first reviewed, and then more advanced imaging techniques, capable of high resolution, are introduced. Issues concerning how to reconcile beamforming performance and robustness against sensor noise and mismatch are discussed. How to choose array parameters is also presented.
