Abstract
Walmart Canada will open its first sustainable refrigerated distribution center in Balzac, Alberta later this year. The center will include a pilot of fuel cell technology, as well as many other sustainable features. The company expects to open the cutting-edge distribution center in fall 2010, and is investing C$115 million (US$111 million) in its construction.
