Abstract
Ferro Corp reported US$408.1 million in net sales for the third quarter of 2013, down slightly from sales of $408.9 million in the same period of 2012. However, value-added sales, which exclude precious metals, increased 3.8% to $387.0 million from $372.9 million in 3Q 2012. Net income attributable to Ferro shareholders recovered to $12.7 million in 3Q 2013 compared to a $316.1 million loss a year earlier.
