Abstract
For its full fiscal year ended 30 September 2017, Boston-based Cabot Corp posted net income of US$241 million, up more than 60% year on year from $149 million in 2016, on net sales of $2.72 billion, some 13% higher than the $2.41 billion achieved the previous year. Fourth quarter net income of $68 million in 2017 was 31% higher than $52 million a year earlier, while quarterly net sales rose 17% year on year, from $619 million in 4Q 2016 to $723 million.
