SOCIALES en laissant peu de place sa dimension artistique, le rap franais a fait l'objet dans les annes 2000 d'une reconnaissance esthtique grandissante. Ce processus a largement pris la forme d'une mise en lumire des qualits d'criture de certains rappeurs : en tmoigne la multiplication de publications telles que des anthologies (Perrier, 2010 ; Jousserand, 2016), et autres approches pionnires mettant en lumire l'intrt stylistique du genre (Marc Martinez, 2008 ; Vettorato, 2008 ; Barret, 2009 ; Rubin, 2012) -au risque parfois d'une rduction de ses potentialits esthtiques au seul texte 1 . Dans la ligne de ces travaux, l'approche de Bettina Ghio, docteure en littrature, est ici clairement informe, comme elle l'annonce ds l'avant-propos, par son propre rapport au rap et la littrature : c'est en retrouvant en l'un les plaisirs de l'autre qu'elle s'intresse plus particulirement aux dsirs et appropriations de la littrature franaise dans le rap (p. 13). Les termes de dsirs et effets d'inscription , emprunts son titre de thse, dont le contenu a t retravaill de manire rendre l'ouvrage plus proche de l'essai que de l'exercice universitaire, indiquent par ailleurs que son approche ne rduit pas un genre l'autre.
