Abstract
Il tema trattato riguarda l’informatizzazione dell’attività amministrativa che si inserisce nel processo di attuazione della Società di Informazione. La Società dell’Informazione è quel lungo processo di modernizzazione attuato nel settore dell’informazione e della comunicazione che ha cambiato significativamente la vita privata, sociale e professionale di ciascun individuo. La rivoluzione tecnologica rappresenta un supporto fondamentale per favorire l’efficienza, la competitività e facilitare l’accesso alla conoscenza dei cittadini. Si intende per e-government il processo di informatizzazione della pubblica amministrazione, il quale unitamente ad azioni di cambiamento organizzativo consente di trattare la documentazione e di gestire i procedimenti con sistemi digitali, grazie all’uso delle tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione (Ict-Information and Communication Tecnologies), allo scopo di ottimizzare il lavoro degli enti e di offrire agli utenti (cittadini e imprese) sia servizi più rapidi, che nuovi servizi, attraverso i siti web delle amministrazioni pubbliche.
