Cet article revient sur le festival de performances virtuelles PUSH.PULL: Intersections of QTBIPOC Cabaret and Performance Art, qui s’est déroulé sur six mois pendant la pandémie de covid-19. Le festival mettait à l’affiche des évènements multidisciplinaires sondant les développements récents et intersectionnels dans les pratiques de performance et de cabaret d’artistes queers, trans, noir·e·s, autochtones, racialisé·e·s et fems aux corps et aux sexualités diverses. Ce compte rendu cherche à mettre en lumière l’éthos ontologique radical de la performance cultivé par les commissaires du festival – une politique sans complexe et libératrice de l’éros, de la joie et de la célébration de l’amour de soi grâce à des performances QTBIPOC –, en même temps que les difficultés et les limites attribuables à un public virtuel sur Zoom et aux formats de diffusion vidéo en continu.
