Abstract
Berdasarkan laporan Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir tahun 2017 tentang persalinan di faskes, menyatakan bahwa dari 27 puskesmas yang ada, UPT Puskesmas Benteng merupakan yang paling rendah, hanya 4,7%.Jumlah ibu hamil yang bersalin di fasilitas kesehatan di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Benteng tahun 2017 hanya 12 orang (4,8%) dari 257 ibu bersalin. Padahal target program berdasarkan renstra adalah 77%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengetahuan, tingkat pendidikan, sikap, jarak tempat tinggal, ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan, dukungan suami/keluarga, dan pendapatan keluarga ibu bersalin di rumah berpengaruh terhadap rendahnya cakupan persalinan di fasilitas kesehatan.Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Variabel penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan , tingkat pendidikan, sikap, jarak tempat tinggal, ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan, dukungan suami/keluarga, dan pendapatan keluarga. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling. Informan penelitian adalah 8 orang ibu bersalin di rumah sebagai informan utama, 1 orang bidan sebagai informan kunci, dan 1 orang dokter umum sebagai informan pendukung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Benteng melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi.Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pengetahuan ibu bersalin di rumah sudah baik, tingkat pendidikan tidak berpengaruh, sikap negatif, jarak tempat tinggal jauh, ketersediaan fasilitas kesehatan pemberi layanan persalinan terbatas, dukungan suami/keluarga bukan ke fasilitas kesehatan dan pendapatan keluarga tidak berpengaruh terhadap pemilihan tempat bersalin.Disarankan kepada seluruh tenaga kesehatan yang ada di UPT Puskesmas Benteng lebih meningkatkan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai persalinan di faskes. menambah jumlah faskes yang menyediakan layanan persalinan, dan menyediakan transportasi untuk keperluan persalinan.Kata kunci : Rendahnya cakupan persalinan, UPT Puskesmas Benteng
