Abstract
This chapter aims to understand the trend in the work-related stress experienced by working women in the current times. A study was conducted involving 70 female professionals. The respondents were selected using convenience sampling and snowballing over a geographically dispersed spread. This was done to identify the differences across different levels in the organization and cultures. Opinions were collected through online close-ended Likert-type questions. The findings clearly indicate that workplace dynamics have significantly changed over the years to eradicate gender inequalities and accommodate and empower female employees. In particular, the fact that more than 85% of the respondents clearly said that they have not experienced any gender-based pay gap is noteworthy since this has been present across cultures and economies until as recent as 20 years ago. The study leaves room for more in-depth research into this area involving a larger sample to further understand the implications of the findings.
