Abstract
Le trouble du déficit de l’attention avec ou sans hyperactivité (TDAH) est fort prévalent durant l’enfance et l’école agit comme un catalyseur du recours au diagnostic et à la médication associée. Cet article fait la synthèse d’une étude comparative entre le Québec et la Flandre sur la question du rôle de l’école dans l’identification des élèves sous la catégorie TDAH. Les résultats reviennent sur les disparités spatiales dans la distribution du trouble et de son traitement pharmacologique, abordent trois cibles distinctes de la médicalisation associée au TDAH et concluent en abordant le rôle du triptyque école-santé-famille.
