Abstract
La diffusion de l’école de la régulation au Québec au cours des années 1980 et 1990 est passée par les modes conventionnels : livres, articles, conférences et colloques. Plusieurs chercheurs du Québec ont démontré un grand intérêt pour cette approche qui offrait une lecture de modes de développement caractérisant des périodes assez longues. Issue de l’économie politique, l’approche démontrait également une grande ouverture pour les contributions interdisciplinaires, ce qui explique l’intérêt démontré par les sociologues et politologues. L’accueil fut à la fois positif et critique. Les limites pour investir les thématiques sociales et politiques ont été relevées et plusieurs ont tenté d’apporter leur propre contribution. Avec les années 1990, l’hégémonie du néolibéralisme et la fin définitive du fordisme, les chercheurs québécois ont mené des travaux de plus en plus dispersés et se sont éloignés de l’approche, même si son influence est encore présente.
