Controversias del margen. Un repaso por el cine argentino de la marginalidad en las últimas décadas

Abstract
En las últimas tres décadas, el cine argentino ha sufrido grandes transformaciones, desde su casi desaparición en 1994, pasando por un período de renovación, una posterior ampliación de sus márgenes estéticos y un aumento de su heterogeneidad -que se dio hasta 2015-, cuando se presentó un nuevo desafío para la producción audiovisual nacional con el retorno de las políticas económicas neoliberales y la posterior llegada de una pandemia que paralizó casi de lleno la realización de obras audiovisuales. En este artículo realizaremos un repaso general por estas etapas, utilizando el Cine de la Marginalidad como eje articulador del período, entendiendo la importancia nodal que el mismo tiene a lo largo de las últimas décadas. El proceso de convergencia digital ha modificado los distintos medios e industrias culturales de forma global. Sin embargo, las características locales presentan rasgos particulares que difieren en cada región. Podríamos pensar que, en Argentina, este proceso permitió en un primer momento, la ampliación de los márgenes estéticos pero que, a medida que se instalaron las nuevas formas del audiovisual en el siglo XXI, cada vez queda menos lugar para un cine autoral, independiente o vanguardista. Bajo esta premisa, el artículo indagará en el avance de la industria audiovisual en Argentina, para este cine que había resurgido desde los márgenes.
