Abstract
En travail social, à Montréal, l’intervention auprès des personnes Noires est souvent construite dans une logique d’interculturalité. Toutefois, nous avançons que l’intervention doit dépasser le cadre de l’interculturel, car dans le cas des personnes Noires, le racisme joue un rôle prépondérant dans les injustices auxquelles iels sont confrontés. Les personnes Noires présentent des réalités identitaires complexes et intersectionnelles, influencées par les multiples aspects de leur positionnement social. Dans cet article, nous faisons dans un premier temps ressortir les expériences de racisme anti-Noir qui marquent l’histoire de Montréal, dans le but de cerner les nuances de leur racisation. Ensuite, en ayant recours à une autoethnographie collaborative, nous explorons les manières dont une approche antiraciste est mieux adaptée pour l’intervention auprès des communautés Noires de Montréal, le tout inspiré par nos savoirs expérientiels et réflexifs en tant que travailleur·euse·s sociaux·ales Noir·e·s.
