Pour les jeunes immigrants au Québec, le passage à la vie adulte se joue dans une mobilité géographique qui est susceptible de renouveler le cadre relationnel de proximité. Les spécificités de l’expérience de ces jeunes sont doubles : le processus migratoire agit comme un accélérateur du passage à la vie adulte dont l’exploration des séquences s’effectue de manière solitaire. Ces jeunes mobiles sont contraints de s’activer sans les proches qui les soutiennent au quotidien. Ainsi, le fait de grandir en migration repose sur des trajectoires d’émancipation à l’égard de l’espace et des relations affectives.
