Resumo O presente artigo visa desenvolver uma metodologia reflexiva para investigar a produção de conhecimento do subcampo de pesquisa de Comunicação Organizacional, levando em conta as realidades contextuais, institucionais e culturais da região latino-americana. Para isso, respondendo aos recentes chamados de desocidentalização da Comunicação, adotamos neste artigo uma abordagem de trabalho “de baixo para cima”, que favorece as realidades vivenciadas pelos pesquisadores latino-americanos e estudiosos em Comunicação Organizacional. A metodologia proposta proporciona um modelo investigativo que possa servir como um exemplo para desocidentalizar a produção de conhecimento em campos correlacionados.
