Abstract
Cet article examine l’impact de la France et des relations franco-québécoises sur le renforcement des capacités de l’État québécois au moment de la Révolution tranquille. Cette contribution a été particulièrement importante au chapitre des capacités financières de l’État du Québec, notamment avec la création de la Caisse de dépôt, de la capacité du Québec à conduire une action autonome surtout en matière de relations internationales et d’action culturelle et en matière d’administration et de gestion, pour ce qui concerne la professionnalisation de la fonction publique. En matière de sécurité et de planification, cette contribution a été moins marquée. Certaines greffes (aménagement du territoire, planification) ont eu du mal à se concrétiser.
