Abstract
Le 30 novembre 2021, Joséphine Baker est entrée au Panthéon. Malgré elle, elle est devenue un symbole, enfermée dans une sorte de gaine incommode dans laquelle on tasserait une femme, une existence, faite d’émotions, de combats, de victoires et d’échecs, une trajectoire particulière en des temps particuliers. Ne serait-ce pas le signe de la voracité et du vertige du collectif quand il fait une proie d’un individu… Ce qui aurait pu être une fête, à tout le moins un moment dans la longue march...
