Abstract
Le Québec et le Canada constituent des destinations de migration de plus en plus privilégiées par la jeunesse urbaine et éduquée du Maroc. Si ces migrations résultent de politiques d’immigration utilitaristes et sélectives de la part du pays de destination, on constate que, dans la société d’émigration, le départ est davantage mû par un désir de reproduction ou d’ascension sociale. Cette enquête menée auprès de jeunes migrant·e·s marocain·e·s au Québec permet de remettre en question le substrat économique des politiques d’immigration québécoises et canadiennes et de la sociologie des migrations.
